Tired of very same plain-searching wooden table and chairs and wish to redecorate them without investing lot of cash and time? You do not like table clothes and would really like a table that appears so great you don't need them anymore? Precisely what I believed before I began this easy project I'm going to reveal to you.
You'll need:
sanding paper
acrylic colors of your liking
water matt finish transparent varnish
several 1 " wide brushes or wider sponge paint rollers
self adhesive stencils of your liking (all supplies are available at hobby shops)
bits of sponge (take dish cleaning sponge and work in a number of more compact pieces)
set of plastic mitts
some old newspapers to pay for floor
I've made the decision which i want my table to become chocolate-brown and my table to become pale yellow (I refer to it as vanilla color). I purchased container of chocolate-brown acrylic color, container of whitened along with a tube of yellow. I put some little bit of yellow into whitened and mixed well until I had been happy with hue of yellow. First of all, you need to sand your table and chairs a little to make certain colors will stick well towards the surface. Sand gently and when you're finished take moist cloth and wipe away all excess sanding dust. Leave all surfaces to dry before beginning to fresh paint them. You are able to discomfort all straight surfaces with curler, however for curved ones you may need a brush. Have patience and make certain all surfaces are covered. I covered everything with 2 jackets of fresh paint, drying out well between jackets. Take care not to have fresh paint seeps because it won't look good once fresh paint is dry. I colored my table into chocolate-brown and my chairs into vanilla pale yellow and left these to totally dry over evening. Whenever your products are dry colors may have matte finish. I made the decision to depart it because it is, but to brighten it a little more using stencils. I selected flowery patterned stencil and placed it along each side of my table. Now you'll need persistence and persistence since you will go one stencil at that time (unless of course you purchase several stencils and you can play with them simultaneously). Put stencil on place of your liking and make certain it stick well to be able to avoid fresh paint spill underneath. Take small sponge and set little bit of fresh paint onto it. I've made vanilla designs along two longer sides of my chocolate-brown table as well as along legs of my table. On chairs I required same pattern and put it with of chairs making them chocolate brown. When everything was finished I left it to dry over evening again and then day I covered it with two jackets of transparent matte finish for sturdiness. I'm extremely pleased with results and thus is my loved ones. Now I do not need table clothes and after every meal I simply wipe my table with moist cloth and things are clean again!
